PUBG Mobile Is a Must-Have For Fans of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds

The latest incarnation of the popular Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds game is now available on mobile devices. Like its PC and console-based big brother, PUBG Mobile lets you drop onto an island with 99 other players. Then you’ll have to gear up and fight your way to the finish, trying to be the last person standing. It’s an incredibly addictive experience, and while it might have some server issues in its opening days it’s still a very impressive technical achievement.

Whether you’re a fan of the original game or have never played it before, PUBG Mobile is a must-have. It’s a great way to experience the thrilling action of this popular battle royale on the go, and it’s easy to pick up and play for just a few minutes at a time.

It’s also free to download, though you can earn in-game currency called BP to unlock additional features and content. That said, the game does have some in-app purchases and ads that pop up from time to time.

PUBG Mobile Download offers a lot of the same gameplay as the PC version, with one major exception: The mobile edition only has a single map. That’s because it has to fit on a small, mobile screen. That means the game is more focused on mid and close-range combat than the long stretches of terrain in the Erangel map that are perfect for snipers. The mobile version also doesn’t have any of the guns that PUBG has added since exiting Early Access, and the new weapons feel a bit clumsy compared to the precision of a mouse and keyboard.

However, despite these shortcomings, it’s still an amazing accomplishment that such a demanding game can run so well on smartphones. While the touchscreen controls are finicky and will never be as accurate as a mouse or gamepad, being able to drop into a match at any time is a huge advantage over having to boot up your PC or laptop.

It’s no wonder PUBG Mobile has become the world’s most-played mobile game. Whether you’re looting abandoned buildings for supplies or running around the island with guns blazing, there’s nothing quite like dropping on the island and finding yourself in a tense battle with 99 other people. Then, when you’re the last person standing, you get to share that awesome moment with your friends and followers on social media. You can even turn that moment into rewards with a tool like Playbite, which lets you turn your gaming achievements into real-world prizes.
